Reminder: Herreid School will have a dismissal time of 11:30 am on the last day of school (May 3). Buses will run at that time. Graduation will be held on Saturday, May 4. Tomorrow's (April 27) track meet in Gettysburg has been moved to Monday, April 29 @ noon.

The HSA track team will NOT be attending track meets next week in Eureka on Tuesday, or in Timber Lake on Thursday. Instead they will be attending a track meet in Gettysburg on Monday, April 29. The meet begins at noon. Thank you!

GM!!! It looks like we will also need to do a sack lunch on Wednesday, May 1. Please take a head count of your students, the same as we asked you to do yesterday. The only difference is Wednesday will be bologna salami sandwiches. Please get your head count to Julie as soon as possible as she needs to get buns, etc

Good morning! Julie would like the elementary teachers and the 6-12 teachers with their 1st hour classes to get her a head count of how many students will be eating a sack lunch on Thursday, May 2. It will be ham sandwiches, apple sauce, chips and a cheese stick. Let Julie of the office know by tomorrow afternoon. TY!

Tomorrow, is a student/teacher workday. There is a teacher meeting at 8:00 am. Workday for students will begin at 8:30 am. Also, the 6-12 Spring Concert start time has been changed to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, April 23 with the academic awards to follow. Lastly, the HSA track team will not be going to Lemmon this Saturday.

The varsity track meet scheduled for next Tuesday has been moved to Monday due to weather concerns. The varsity track meet will be in Onida and the JH will have a meet the same day in Ipswich!

Good afternoon! This is a friendly reminder that the 6-12 Herreid School Spring Concert has been moved from Thursday, April 25 to Tuesday, April 23 @ 7:00 pm. Please remember to use the west elementary doors when entering the school. Have a great day!

Good Morning! Just a friendly reminder that the Herreid School Board Election will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, April 9) from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Herreid Community Center.

Prom Reminder: The HSA Prom Grand March will take place at 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 6 @ the Herreid School Gymnasium. The public is welcome to attend the Grand March. Note: The Herreid Fire Department pancake and sausage fundraiser meal will be served from 5:00 - 7:00 on the evening of prom.

(Part 3) We would ask parents of 6-12 students to notify the office if you are giving your child permission to leave class & attend the concert. Students who don't have parental permission will remain in their regular classes. 6-12 students will also be released for early dismissal following the elementary concert.

(Part 2) Following the concert, the teachers will take their students back to their classrooms to gather their backpacks and coats. Students will then be released to their parents or to get on the bus for the early dismissal. Please tell your child's teacher and bus driver if you are taking your child home.

(Part 1)Good afternoon! This is a reminder that the elementary music concert is rescheduled for 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 28. Mrs Borr estimates the concert to be done around 3:10 pm.

There will in-person school in Herreid this morning at 10:00. Bus will run.

Herreid School will have a 10 am start Monday, March 25th. A decision will be announced in the morning as to whether that will be a 10 am start for in-person learning or 10 am start for remote learning.

The Elementary Volleyball program will start with practice this Sunday, March 24th in Herreid at 6:00 pm for the 2nd-6th graders. Be sure to contact Coach Sandmeier for the schedule if you are not in the communication group to get any updates or cancellations due to weather. Thanks for your cooperation.

The Elementary Spring Music Concert scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to icy and snow-packed roads along with limited visibility. It has been rescheduled for next Thursday (March 28th) at 2:00 pm in the afternoon.

Staff & Students: Please prepare for a possible remote learning day on Monday, March 25th, due to weather and to avoid a make-up day on Easter Monday. Please take home your computers, textbooks, and anything you may need for your classes.
